Handling injured animals

The surveyor involved in the 2013 and 2014 surveys did not come across any injured animals during those surveys, however he has otherwise come across a number of injured animals over the years, which he had taken to a vet.

Whilst it is inevitable that surveyors will come across injured animals, it is also very likely anyone that supports the charity's activities will also come across injured animals and will need to know what to do with these.

It is felt that actions required by charity volunteers and supporters needs to be documented and communicated. In addition to this training could become a vital means of sharing this knowledge. It is felt therefore that this single issue could require the charity's aims to be extended to ensure that funds can be used to support such activities.
